Position Description
This is a part time 30 hours or less position with initial work assignments to be of short duration and project specific. There may be future opportunities for full time employment if workload is sufficient. The primary duties of this position will be to prepare Real Estate appraisals for public acquisitions primarily for transmission and transportation projects following eminent domain rules for valuation in conformance with requirements of the Uniform Act, Federal Yellow Book standards and USAP, conduct project scoping and right of way cost estimating functions and prepare administrative offer determinations for non complex acquisitions. Proven ability and experience in appraisal review following standards of the Uniform Act, Federal Yellow Book, USPAP and accepted agency guidelines is desirable.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
At least 2 years of experience.
Current State Certified General License in WA and/or OR or ability to obtain prior to employment is required. MAI or other comparable appraisal designation desirable. Experience in projects carried out under the threat of eminent domain Partial Acquisitions education & experience, as well as general ROW experience beyond real estate appraisal work will be considered.
