EPB has an immediate opening for a Sales Manager in its Fiber Optics Division.
Scope will include overall responsibility for creating a business plan that identifies and captures business potential for EPB Fiber Optics; hiring, training, and coaching a team of Account Managers and Account Development Managers; working effectively and supporting sales team in educating prospects on communications products; developing and implementing a long-term sales focus for Fiber Optics market; developing managing tactical plans for growing market share with new fiber-based products and bundles while demonstrating fiscal responsibility; developing strong relationships with decision makers in key accounts to promote the benefits of our product and core values; and preparing reports of sales/business transactions and keeping expense accounts accurate and timely.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience and/or training, organizational and time management skills, the ability to handle objections successfully, accept change with little resistance, possess excellent customer service, PC, prioritizing, and oral and written communication skills, quickly learn and implement EPB Policies and Procedures related to the position, and work effectively in a team environment and according to EPB Professional Power standards.
