Position Description
Erlanger Health System is currently seeking an Audit Services Director! Job Summary:
The Director of Audit Services reviews and appraises the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and other operating controls, and promotes effective internal controls at a reasonable cost. Helps management discharge its duties by furnishing them with analyses, appraisals, recommendations and comments on activities reviewed.
Education Required: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 to 5 years in Audit Services, preferably a management position. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in a comparable healthcare environment, preferably hospital industry.
Certification/Registration Required: Must have Certified Public Accountant license. Must also have, or obtain within 3 years, the Certified Internal Auditor designation.
