Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining RDBMS structures to support business needs and application development, utilizing strong communications and prioritization skills. Will coordinate, review, analyze and approve the physical database requirements of databases and all associated objects; such as, but not limited to, tablespaces, tables, indexes and views.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree OR 4 years work experience with Relational Database Management Systems with DB2, SQLServer, and/or Oracle
- 2 years work experience with Relational Database Management Systems with DB2 Z/OS
- 2 years work experience with systems development methodologies
- 2 years work experience with the design, creation and maintenance of database structures
- 2 years work experience with the development and revision of database standards, procedures and strategies
