- Provide collaboration with Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and Magellan.
- Provide clinical impressions for the referred client and their ability to provide a safe living environment for their child(ren) with appropriate recommendations for treatment and placement.
- Maintain clinical licensing and current contracts with funding and referral entities: Medicaid Managed Care, Nebraska Health and Human Services, Medicare, third party insurance companies, etc.
- Perform comprehensive family assessments to include family interviewing, completion of predetermined assessments, identify client ability to provide a safe living environment for child(ren).
- Supports and promotes programs within Visinet, Inc. and mediate conflicts with community contacts to preserve the reputation and perception of consumers and stakeholders.
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Attend team meetings/care conference/clinical consultations regarding specific case issues as requested by referral and/or funding source.
- Provide feedback on program specific operating procedures as necessary.
- Utilize appropriate billing sheets for each client and submit them on the service completion day.
- Complete or obtain further evaluations as necessary.
- Obtain collateral information and submit with the completed evaluation.
- Complete and submit all written evaluations to the appropriate referral source within designated time frames.
- Provide recommendations in coordination with CFA Evaluation Team, Psychiatrist.
- Obtain collateral information from previous treatment providers, educational providers, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, legal sources, and previous mental health practitioners.
- Submit completed evaluation reports to Magellan Behavioral Health that include assessment results, clinical summary, and recommendations.
- Coordinate scheduling and staffing of cases with other program employees.
- Coordinate and schedule client Psychiatric Evaluation with identified Psychiatrist.
- Complete all directives within established time frames and/or seek pre-approval for extensions to assigned tasks as needed.
- Initiate contact with the client within twenty-four (24) hours and schedule follow up appointments in a timely manner.
- Consult the HRD/COO/CEO on all potential liability issues.
- Maintain weekly contact with case managers/referral sources (leave a message on their voice mail if he/she is unavailable). Document these contacts (attempts) on a collateral contact form.
- Contact the Clinical Director or your Supervisor in the event of a crisis regarding a client or individual associated with the client (regardless of the outcome a supervisor is required to be notified).

a. Required: Master’s degree, LMHP, ASI, SASSI – 3 trained.

3. Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations: Completion of all Visinet, Inc. regular and ongoing training identified for the position. Nebraska Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. LMHP, must be SASSI – 3 and ASI trained.
