Primary Duties: Must be licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Nebraska with no restrictions. The primary function of this LPN will be assisting with surveillance, special studies, education and adminstrative activities which are intended to ensure that the hospital's patients, visitors and staff will be protected from the transmission of diseases and infections within the healthcare facility's environment.

Minimum Qualifications: LPN licensure is required, along with a minimum of five years' experience within a clinical setting. Candidates must have good computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong listening skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations. They must also have the ability to synthesize information from various sources and perspectives, and the ability to collect and interpret data. Candidates must be comfortable in assisting other healthcare workers and families in understanding the various infection prevention practices, as they relate to each group.

Schedule: Generally Monday through Friday, day shifts
