Perot Systems is seeking a Business Analyst Senior Specialist to support the Xcelys application. This is a role in the Client Care Center which handles application and operations support for all Xcelys and Diamond customers. This person must have demonstrated strong abilities in providing operations support for healthcare payers, on the IT or Operations side. The Business Analyst Senior Specialist is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements from the operations and client teams, work with client to develop User Requirements and provide point of contact support for assigned Xcelys account(s).

Duties also include developing reports and facilitating weekly status meeting, participate in software review board meetings to represent application issues for assigned client, manage day to day application support for assigned account(s), work closely with client executive, obtains client approval of decisions, tracks and reports status of client generated reports and ensures Service Levels are met. In addtition, Senior Specialist participate in client sales demos, travel to client site for training or other request and

The Senior Specialist works closely with the other members of the Client Care Center, Product Management and Perot GIS teams as well as the client and Client Executive. Other general duties include: serving as the customer interface for application support and evaluating proposed product functionality.

Excellent customer interface skills and the ability to effectively communicate with department leaders are required. Ability to function independently and as a team player. A self starter - must be able to multi-task and handle multiple ongoing projects. Candidate must demonstrate tenacity for application problem-solving and a solid work ethic.

Required Skills:

8+ yrs Payer and/or Healthcare experience , with progressively increasing levels of responsibility for multiple system modules

3+ yrs customer service experience

1+ yrs experience with a data extract tool

Application troubleshooting and strong analytical skills

Very Strong written and verbal communication skills

Some Knowledge of database table structure and data types

Advanced skills on Microsoft Word and Excel

Desired Skills:

Troubleshooting skills

3+ yrs healthcare business background in DIAMOND 950 or Xcelys

Strong communication and verbal skills

Strong Excel skills, using functions and formulas

PL/SQL Developer or similar experience for analyzing system data
