Summary Description of Work:
- Intense Case Management responsibilities begin at this level. Decision making, problem solving, and highly developed interpersonal skills are critical.
PREFERRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social work or related field required.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license/acceptable driving record.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and teach kindergarten readiness classes for FNN caregivers and their children
- Coordinate activities for multiple sites working with volunteers, cultural ambassadors and community agencies.
- Keep all records of attendance/ registration
- Be knowledgeable about community resources and classes available for International families.
- Be available for weekend and evening activities in the homes, churches and social gatherings sites of International families. (i.e.: Sudanese, Somalia, and Karen families)
- Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
- Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
- Cooperates and collaborates with agency and collateral staff.
- Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
- Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
- Performs other program related duties as assigned.
