Job duties for this role include: Installing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex operating systems software and related program products. Providing technical consulting on the use and integration of applications into the operating environment. Working with corporate-wide technical staff; and large external clients. Working independently and with leadership. Providing coaching to team members.
The successful candidate will possess the following: - Expertise in Solaris operating systems, subsystems, and Software Vendor products.
- Understanding of business issues facing company and clients.
- 6+ years related IT experience.
- MS or BS (or equivalent experience) Associate's/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Provide 24 x 7 on-call support as needed.
- Expertise in Veritas Cluster Server and Volume Management and Solstice DiskSuite,
- Strong team player.
