Job Segments:

 

• Supports the On-site Director in planning and leading summer fun club activities and in staff training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Assists other staff members with planning and carrying out activities with assigned small groups.
• Attends all staff meetings.
• Participates and leads children in a variety of activities both on and off-site. (These activities include, but are not limited to, swimming, dance, dramatics, computer-games, arts and crafts, youth sports activities, and assigned field trips.)
• Communicates effectively with summer fun club participants and parents.
• On-site attendance is required of this position.

  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Ability to work with children of varying ages (5-12 years of age).
• Thorough knowledge of the branch’s emergency procedures.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail required.
• Customer service skills highly desirable.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people; bilingual capability helpful. **Must be available for training week of May 17.
